Our client is a recognised leading renewable energy developer and operator across Europe, Asia and Americas. Their operation generates over 25 GW of wind, solar and hydro power plants.
Arklow Bank Wind Park Phase 2 wind energy development project is located off the coast of Arklow, Co. Wicklow. The developer SSE Renewables plans to develop the onshore grid infrastructure necessary to connect the 520MW -800MW phase 2 of Arklow Bank Wind Park in the Irish Sea.
The Offshore infrastructure comprises of two Offshore Substations Platforms (OSP) and foundation substructures; wind turbines; network of inter-array cabling and two offshore export cables
The onshore Grid infrastructure consists of two underground electricity cables will connect from the landfall to the onshore substation and a new 220kV onshore substation and connection to the transmission system to distribute the energy across Ireland.
The OMF will be used to service and maintain the windfarm infrastructure once operational.
Energy storage offers a faster alternative to a PPA and supports diverse applications flexibility including firming renewable production from conventional power generation, transmission & distribution, stabilizing the electrical grid, controlling energy flow, optimizing asset operation and creating new revenue.
We provide the Project Management and Control processes designed specifically to drive full lifecycle of programme while providing the capabilities to support the complete spectrum of solutions within the Project Controls discipline – from project planning through performance reporting, optimization of resource utilization as well as improve the cost and schedule performance.
